Compliance: Our OpenAI integration follows their usage policies and best practices. We use the API tier, which means your data is not used to train OpenAI's models.
5. Data Privacy & AI
We take a privacy-first approach to AI integration. Here's how we protect your data when processing it through AI services:
- Minimal data sharing -- We send only the minimum data required to fulfill each AI request. Personal identifiers are stripped when possible.
- No model training -- Your data is never used to train third-party AI models. We use API tiers that contractually prohibit training on customer data.
- Encrypted transmission -- All data sent to AI providers is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Access controls -- Strict access controls ensure only authorized systems can interact with AI services on your behalf.
- No data retention by providers -- AI queries are processed and discarded. We do not allow providers to retain your data beyond the time needed to fulfill the request.
